Drawing on his Bachelor’s Degree in the Classics from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, on his extensive experience teaching private music lessons, and on years of writing and performing original rock and acoustic music, Joe will help your child learn how to play and enjoy guitar. Joe Goodkin has been a Lycee Guitar teacher for 10 years. Lessons taught in English.‚Äč

30mn private online lessons with Matt McGuire. Let the good times roll! From basic note reading to strumming folk and rock songs, you’ll learn how to make music on the world’s most popular and coolest instrument with Guitar instructor and performer Matt Mc Guire. Laureate of a master’s degree from Northwestern School of Music, Matt has solid credentials in classical guitar but also plays and teaches rock and jazz professionally. Lessons taught in English.

30-minute private online lessons with Rebecca Wilcox. Rebecca received a Bachelor of Music in violin performance from Oberlin Conservatory in 2006 where she studied under Kyung Sun Lee and Milan Vitek. She plays regularly with New Millenium Orchestra and is the principal violist with Northbrook Symphony Orchestra. She is an avid chamber musician and an active faculty member at First Conservatory in LaGrange, IL. A patient and caring educator,  Rebecca brings years of experience to our students. Lessons taught in English.

A passionate teacher, Elaine Lemieux has been teaching voice lessons at LFC for over 8 years. Elaine will help children discover the natural beauty of their own voice and find the uniqueness of their personal style. Weekly classes cover posture, Breath Support, Natural Voice Production, How to Extend Your Vocal Range, How to Express Yourself Musically, Interpretation, Music Theory, Solfege/Note reading. Lessons taught in French.

  • For ages 6 and up

  • June 22-July 31

  • Tuesday through Friday, from 3pm to 6pm

  • $210 for 1 weekly lesson over 6 weeks
